FREE DEMONOID INVITATION CODES

Well, I have decided to make this a little easier for you and make it possible for people to actually get codes. I have a feeling that some people maybe taking more than 1 code or some of the other “free demonoid code” websites are hanging around here.

Instead of just posting 5 codes, I will make this a lottery type thing. It will be simple, and the only thing you will need to do is register to the blog and leave a comment on the giveaway blog post. I will draw a random amount of users and I will send them an email. No need to add your email to the comment, but I will send the code to the email you used to sign up!

Here are a few things that would help get more codes out.

* If you get one from me, talk about it! Spread on yahoo answers, twitter, Facebook, blogs… and write up a comment saying thanks! Just so i know that people are really getting it.

* Keep a good upload to download ratio… don’t be a leecher. All my accounts i use have a high ration. average is about 10:1 and one account at 24:1. That means i have downloaded 1 file and uploaded it 24 times!

* If you can, make some new codes and pass them back to me so i can give them out again! I would like to make it so i can create 5 codes a day…. so far its about 15 a week.

* Like the page or post!!! use the toolbar below to simply “like it.” Follow me on twitter!

*Donations are welcome but not required. I need to look into a new host as well, but it will help keep the site running!

This is based off the Milestone overclock module. Credit goes to Elkay over @ DroidForums, for modifying it to run on the X. The results so far are not that high, but never the less it’s overclocked.
This is a big “Do at your own risk” thing.
If your unsure of anything, then I would advise against it.

Quick rundown of making it work:
*Extract the files from the zip and place on your sdcard
*Using adb or terminal emulator, type the following:

cp /sdcard/overclock.ko /system/lib/modules/
cp /sdcard/overclock.sh /system/bin/
chmod 644 /system/lib/modules/overclock.ko

mount -o ro,remount -t ext3 /dev/block/mmcblk1p21 /system

*To set speed and voltage, run the command overclock.sh frequency voltage
e.g.

Do not go over 96 for the voltage!

The X defaults are:
CPU=1000000
Voltage=66

Everything clears after a reboot, so to OC again, you would have to run the command again.
